Project Management (Specialisation Course), Burg Schleining
The overall objective of the Specialisation Course on "Project Management" is the improvement of the preparation of experts who will become involved in the design, implementation and evaluation of projects in post-conflict - and underdeveloped areas. The purpose of this training is to familiarise participants with the international standards, the project management cycle, human resource management as well as concepts and promising practices. The course also seeks to enable participants to exchange respective expertises, and therewith build capacity.
Sessions include:
Identification of project idea
Situation analysis and needs assessment (Pre-/Crisis/Post-Crisis)
Stakeholder analysis
Logical Framework Approach
Practical Exercises and Case Studies
Budgeting
Fundraising
Writing of Project Proposal
Project Implementation
Target Group:
People who work or have worked in a project team, as project managers or consultants.
People who have attended the Core Course and are interested in specializing in Project Management.
Basic project management experience is required.
