Day 1: Peace is your business!
For the first time an international conference will focus on the economic potential of global peace. Raising such questions as: What can companies do in order to secure their global investments and sales? What importance does conflict prevention play for the development of enterprises? How can private businesses play a role in issues of peace policy? Respected and successful global players in business, economics and peace will give an insight into their visions, strategies and experiences to try to answer these questions.
Day 2: Peace starts with us!
The focus of Conference day two will be the “Global Peace Building Strategy”. Up until now the world has no method that systematically responds to the threat of violent conflict. In consultation with experienced peace builders, government officials, civil society and the military the World Peace Partnership have developed a holistic approach to peace-building: interweaving 7 objectives that use proven local, national and international methodologies to prevent and transform violent conflict and address its causes. At the conference the strategy will be presented and discussed for the first time.
